Perfect! I had a bracelet I wanted to sell and after doing a lot of research, came across Gold Traders. I was a little apprehensive, but the whole process was very easy. After filling in the online form, I was given clear instructions on packing and sending. I posted the bracelet Thursday lunchtime and received a courtesy email from Gold Traders Friday morning to let me know they had received the package. Early afternoon I was invited to log into my account to see the valuation, which was very fair. I accepted and the money was in my account later that evening. I can highly recommend Gold Traders and will definitely use again.
After apprehensively sending my gold watch chain to Gold Traders, (having never dealt with them before), I needn't have worried as the whole transaction process was simple and straightforward. Payment, as promised, was next day. I am happy to recommend anyone to Gold Traders who has unwanted gold tucked away in a drawer.
Good service and would use again. I had reservations about using an online gold trader and spent some time researching a multitude of companies. Gold Traders may not offer the highest rate out there but, when taking into account the speed of service, accuracy and speed of payment, the overall package is probably one of the best out there. There was a minor difference in the weight of the item but I had already suspected my scales may be a gramme out and that was the case. I'd happily use them again.
I took some gold items to Gold Traders, Royal Wootton Bassett, on the recommendation of friends who live close to there. The friends said they have the best and fairest scrap gold prices and I had some small pieces of broken gold rings, a rope necklace and bracelet, a couple of pairs of very light earrings etc, together with a half sovereign. I firstly checked out the carat weights and weighed out all the same carat items together ( I had 9 carat, 10, 14, 18 and 22, but mostly 9 carat) and I noted down the weights in each category. Then, on the day I planned to visit Gold Traders I went onto their website to check out their current day's trading prices per gram for each type of gold that I had and totted them all up to give me an idea of how much money I could expect to make. When I entered their offices I was greeted by a lady who was securely ensconced behind a glass window, rather like a post office counter. My side of the counter was cramped and very plain and I passed my small plastic bags to her, one at a time through a tiny hatch. She then placed each item of jewellery individually into a machine which categorised what carat gold it was and how much it weighed, then calculated how much I would be offered for that item. At the end she added up all the figures and told me what I would get for the lot. To my surprise, the total came to about three times my own calculation! I was absolutely delighted and more than happy to accept her offer. She therefore drew up the necessary paperwork, which I signed in agreement. I then supplied her with my bank details and took away my copy of our agreement, thanked her for her help and went away for a celebratory cup of coffee. From walking in off the street, my whole transaction took about 15 minutes to complete and I was promised that the money would be in my bank account hopefully by the end of the day, but by first thing the following morning latest. I checked my account the following morning and sure enough the full funds had been transferred over to me as promised! I found the whole experience simple, pleasant and hugely satisfying and I can certainly recommend Gold Traders to anyone looking for a fair and honest price for their unwanted precious metal items.Moreexpand_more
