The whole experience with gold traders was exceptional. I was so impressed with the service and the valuation. I completed the sale feeling very confident thst I had the best price. The money was in my bank before I left the premises. No pressure for me to sell, I took my time deciding before selling. The gentleman who served me was very polite and friendly. I'd researched Gold Traders thoroughly before felt confident to use and the Trading Standards accreditation certainly helped encourage me to choose them. The steps to selling were also simple to follow. In less than 24 hours I have received full payment for the items sent. It was particularly reassuring to obtain a value before committing to send and Gold Traders have been true to their word in paying at the same rate as quoted in the claim. The service was superb. I sent the gold one day by registered delivery, got acknowledgement the following morning, a quote by lunchtime, which I accepted, and the sale price was paid into my account by mid afternoon. The gold quality was as I expected, but the weight slightly higher with their more accurate and precise scales. The price offered was at the top end of the range of the checks I had undertaken of different buyers in advance. I cannot recommend them too highly. It was excellent and extremely convenient.

The final payout rate of £68. 93/g was excellent and completely fair for my 18ct gold watch case. However, getting there was a real journey. Their system logged 'workings and glass removed 30. 2g' which caused massive confusion over the actual gold weight, and the phone support couldn't explain the math. After some firm emails and a overnight hold, Laura sorted it out, verified the 15. 1g gold weight with photos, and updated my payout to the live rate. Professional matching rates, but the dashboard phrasing needs work!

After getting a poor quote from a mobile buyer I looked elsewhere and found Gold traders. I checked the company out thoroughly and was satisfied so sent my gold to them as they quoted me £600 more than previous. Final price was just a touch lower but I accepted and the money was in my account within a few hours. Very happy with money I received and the excellent service. I would use again.

Only took 30 hours from weighing the items on my digital kitchen scales to money going into my account. I phoned and spoke to someone before I sent my items to check if certain items were of value. The man was very helpful. Easy to post at the local Post Office by ’Special Delivery’. I wrote out the details and declaration by hand as I don’t have a printer. Email the next morning to say the package had arrived. A second email a few hours later with the actual value, which I accepted. Very easy process and would highly recommend.

I was a bit nervous as you hear so many horror stories. But I tested the water with some broken tarnished bits and pieces. The service was quick and painless and the price was extremely reasonable. Very, very pleased and would happily recommend Gold Traders to anyone with some Gold to sell. In only a few days I received my money, a little more than the value on the web site. The on site valuation is easy to work out, just put in the accurate weight and send it off. I will be using this site from now on. I don't usually leave reviews but I feel Gold Traders deserve it.
