I chose Gold Traders UK after reading reviews online and then checked through the website. Obtained an online quote. The whole process of raising a Claim Form was very straightforward. Sent item by Royal Mail Special Delivery and received confirmation of receipt. The money was in my account within 24 hours. Exceptionaly good service and would certainly recommend this Company.

Undecided at first to sell on the High Street which would be easier, or package and sell online for a higher price. Sent special delivery next day delivery to Gold Traders one item out of many to check if the transaction would go well. Highly delighted everything ok. Sent Monday. They received Tuesday, confirmed they had received and paid me what they had quoted the same day. Sending more tomorrow. All good!

Fantastic service, posted scrap gold 4pm Monday, payment received by 4pm Tuesday, I didn’t even know one of my scrap items was of higher purity carat, but they checked it all, informed me and paid me more than the original quote that I was expecting, how’s that for honesty !

Seemless throughout. Easy to navigate website, you can weigh your jewellery and use the calculator to get an estimate of the value before committing. The submission form is straightforward. Communication is fantastic, they let you know once received and update when valuation is ready. If you accept the offer, you then receive email once funds are transferred (usually same day). Top prices paid, I have used twice, would use again and highly recommend.

In a process where you are paranoid of being ripped off, dealing with Gold Traders was a breath of fresh air. Their £ per gram pricing was very transparent and extremely competitive. The process of obtaining a quote and sending the items was very easy and the transaction was carried out very efficiently. You do have to pay for the delivery postage but the generous price paid easily compensated for this.

Excellent service and price given. I had to pay to post but was definitely worth it as other traders with free postage offered considerably less. I posted it it one day and money was in my account shortly after lunch the next day. I don’t normally do reviews but was blown away with how quick and easy the process was so would definitely recommend them over other companies offering free postage.
