I was a bit dubious of using an online service but have been very pleasantly impressed with the service I received. Fair price and very straightforward process. Clear instructions to follow and great communication outlining how the transaction was going. Would certainly recommend.
Amazing service, was sceptical but posted out as directed, it was received next day, they contacted be with the valuation before lunch time, it was a little lower due to weight but then I did weigh on kitchen scales was only out by 0. 5gram I accept the quote and the money was in my back within 2 hours. I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I was nearly ripped off by Gold Arthur who offered he half of what Gold Trader did, then I read an article on their site while researching them. Totally worth doing. Thank you so much for an honest, great service.
I went to sell scrap gold at the Bodmin office. A little nervous about the whole situation. I shouldn't have been. The lady who served me was lovely, we had a great rapport and we talked about how they verify the purity of the gold and how they account for the stones. It was a completely painless operation. The money offered was slightly above wat I expected so I was really pleased,. Will definitely return in the future with my old silver.
After a series of very frustrating attempts to sell my late mother’s gold jewellery on eBay, where the auctions finished well below scrap value, and hefty final valuation fees piled up along with extra charges for things like “Authentication” and “Buyer Protection, ” On top of that, the long wait to receive payment - most times over a week, and that's even when buyers paid straight away. It really did make the whole process more hassle than it was worth. So last weekend, I finally decided I’d had enough of being ripped off, and ended my latest batch of auctions early, and looked around for a alternative, more cost effective way to sell my mum's remaining gold items. After quite a bit of research, I discovered Gold Traders UK Ltd and after reading several positive reviews, I thought I'd give them a try. Gold Traders were nothing like eBay. The entire experience was quick, easy, and absolutely hassle-free. Their prices were clear and competitive, with no hidden charges quietly nibbling away at the final amount. I posted my items, they confirmed receipt the next day, and payment landed in my account almost immediately. No chasing, no delays, no surprises. Okay, so you have to provide your own padded envelope, and pay for Special Delivery postage (£19.25 in my case) but my gold items were guaranteed to be delivered before 1pm the next day, and the contents were fully insured for £2,500 so I think twenty quid is quite a small price to pay for the peace of mind. (I cant be sure, but I'm guessing the so called 'Free' envelopes provided by some on-line gold buyers like VCC and many others come at a much higher price when the P&P charges are factored in, and deducted from your final pay-out) It’s rare these days to find a company that does exactly what it promises, but Gold Traders UK Ltd delivered a smooth, ultra fast, professional service from start to finish. If like me, you’re tired of the uncertainty, and fees of online auctions, selling your unwanted gold this way, is the much better option to selling on eBay in my opinion. Thank you so much for keeping me fully informed during the whole 24hr service. I will definably be selling the rest of my mum's jewellery through you guys.Moreexpand_more
